We are thrilled to share an exciting opportunity made possible by our generous friends at Memehouse, who are hosting a spectacular Holiday Toy Drive on Monday, December 16th from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM at 5251 Hayvenhurst Ave., Encino, CA 91436. This festive community celebration is designed especially for children and families in foster care, and trust us—you won’t want to miss it! From twinkling lights to joyful laughter, the evening promises to kick off Christmas cheer in the most magical way.
Memehouse has gone all out to create a holiday wonderland packed with activities and treats the whole family will enjoy. Kids can unleash their creativity at the stocking and ornament decorating stations, get festive with face painting, and warm up with hot cocoa and crêpes that taste like pure holiday happiness. And the excitement doesn’t stop there—Santa himself will be making a special appearance to spread cheer and snap photos with the little ones!
But here’s the best part: Memehouse has gathered over 1,000 gifts for children to choose from, ensuring every young person leaves with something they love. Families who need a little extra sparkle this season can even take home a Christmas tree—no strings attached! This event truly embodies the spirit of giving, community, and celebration, and we encourage all Penny Lane families to attend. Penny Lane Centers is proud to share that our dedicated board member, Kathryn Bailey, will once again host and organize the 16th Annual Holiday Boutique, a beloved community tradition benefiting the children, youth, and families we serve. For more than a decade, this special event has brought joy, dignity, and hope to hundreds of individuals—including emancipated youth, homeless clients, and veterans—by offering them the opportunity to select gifts that meet their needs and brighten their holiday season. From toys and clothing to personal care items and home essentials, every donation helps ensure our participants feel valued, celebrated, and supported.
The Holiday Boutique will take place on Saturday, December 20, 2025, from 1:00pm to 5:00pm, at the Boys and Girls Club of San Fernando Valley, with volunteer shifts available throughout the day. We invite you to join Kathryn, our volunteers, and the Penny Lane community in making this year’s boutique the most impactful yet. Whether you bring baby items for our youngest clients, warm jackets and accessories for teens, or home goods and hygiene products for families, your contribution will help transform lives this holiday season.
