Exciting Affordable Housing Opportunities Coming to North Hills!
Big news from Abbey Road! We are thrilled to announce that applications are officially OPEN for The Rigby, our newest affordable housing community in North Hills! This exciting new development represents another important step in our commitment to providing safe, stable, and affordable housing for individuals and families in our community. Located at 15314 Rayen Street in North Hills, The Rigby will feature 64 beautiful apartments, including studios, one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and three-bedroom units, offering a variety of housing options to meet the needs of individuals and families. With construction expected to be completed in winter 2026, we're excited to welcome future residents and help create a place they can proudly call home!
The Rigby is more than just a place to live; it's a place to thrive! Designed with comfort, convenience, and community in mind, this new development will offer a variety of wonderful amenities, including a fitness center, community room, rooftop deck, secured parking, on-site laundry facilities, and bike storage. Most apartments will feature a balcony or patio, and the property is pet-friendly! Beyond the amenities, The Rigby will also provide much-needed housing opportunities for some of our community's most vulnerable populations. Thirty-three apartments will be designated as permanent supportive housing for households experiencing chronic homelessness and transition-age youth experiencing homelessness, while 29 additional units will serve qualifying low-income households. These housing opportunities are about so much more than four walls and a roof; they're about creating stability, building independence, and giving individuals and families the foundation they need for a brighter future.
Mark your calendars because the application window is now open, but time is limited! Applications are being accepted from October 28 through November 30, 2026, with a housing lottery scheduled for December 10, 2026. Interested applicants can apply online at EAHHousing.org/The-Rigby or through the Los Angeles Housing Registry. Those who prefer a paper application can request one by calling (747) 221-7617. Be sure to review the attached Qualifications Flyer, which provides important information about income eligibility, rental rates, and apartment options.
