
The Penny Lane Community & Family Resource Center (CFRC) is a community-based program that offers communities in Los Angeles County resources, supportive services, and opportunities for connection. The CFRC promotes stability and wellness by offering case management, parenting education, mental health support, and community engagement activities tailored to meet the diverse needs of local residents. The center is committed to being a welcoming, trauma informed space where individuals can find guidance, resources, and encouragement as they navigate life’s challenges.

The Community & Family Resource Center (CFRC) invites you to join our Self-Care 101 Group. The goal of this group is to teach individuals how to increase self-care and learn new ways to manage daily stressors. Participants will learn about the pillars of wellbeing, including sleep, nutrition, exercise, social, and spiritual wellness. The group will also guide participants in learning and practicing relaxation skills to help them feel more calm and grounded. Participants will learn about the brain and the window of tolerance, and how using coping skills and taking good care of ourselves can help us feel more present and joyful. The Community & Family Resource Center (CFRC) is hosting a FAFSA Workshop for teens who are planning for college or higher education. During this workshop, participants will receive guidance and support on how to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and learn about financial aid opportunities for college. Penny Lane Centers is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization that cares for over 3500 abused and neglected children, youth and families a month. We provide therapeutic residential services, foster family home placements, adoption services, transitional and affordable housing, family preservation, Intensive Services and mental health services for children youth and families throughout Los Angeles County.
