Penny Lane Centers was recently awarded $100,000 from the S. Mark Taper Foundation. Founded in 1989, the S. Mark Taper Foundation is a private family foundation dedicated to enhancing the quality of people’s lives by supporting nonprofit organizations and their work in the community. The foundation has been a generous supporter of Penny Lane in the past and we are grateful for this grant which goes towards general operating funds. This generous grant will help support children, youth, and families through Penny Lane’s many programs with items that our contracts do not pay for such as emergency food, housing vouchers and other emergency necessities.
