Northrop Grumman Partnering with Penny Lane in the Antelope Valley
Penny Lane Antelope Valley Transition Age Youth (TAY) Drop-in Center was the recipient of a generous donation due to a drive conducted by Northrop Grumman of Antelope Valley. Northrop Grumman as well as Penny Lane Centers focuses on building meaningful partnerships that transform communities . They organized a donation drive and dedicated their time and resources to collect essential items including food, clothing and hygiene items that directly benefited our transitional age youth (TAY) as they work toward independence.
The rain didn’t deter a group of ten people from Northrop Grumman to personally deliver the items collected from the drive. TAY team members had the chance to meet with the donors to share more about the program goals and even explored opportunities to continue to partner in new capacities that involve mentorship! It is always special to collaborate with our community. We at Penny Lane are so thankful to have supportive people along for the journey as we aim to empower our TAY participants.
