This year, TAYStock was held on 11/4/23 with over 20+ community partners participating in the event and with 100+ people in attendance. The TAY program prepared early with the help of our Embracing Identities and HOMES teams. We had multiple activities going on and encouraged families and clients to participate. We had a gaming truck, a cross-fit class, a photo booth, and a video production class where everyone was able to participate.
We provided tacos for everyone and saw many happy smiling faces. The program and clients were able to get the necessary information and linkages from community partners and Penny Lane. We finished the day with some fun raffles and giveaways. Everyone left happy and enjoyed this year's TAYStock! They are already excited for next year's event.
Penny Lane Antelope Valley TAY Drop-in Center was able to continue our tradition of hosting our annual TAYSTOCK community event. TAYSTOCK is designed for transition age youth (TAY) and welcoming of all. Each year we team up with community partners to provide a one stop shop for people to connect to community, access resources that promote stability and wellness, and participate in art activities.
This year we were able to offer food from Wienerschnitzel and raffled off a ton of prizes including a bike, speakers, and gift cards! We danced, enjoyed the photo booth, created art, and connected with so many new people. Thank you to all those that participated in TAYSTOCK ’23. We enjoyed spending the day with you and look forward to seeing you again soon!
