Penny Lane Centers celebrated our supporters, staff and community partners all of whom committed generously of their time and resources towards transforming the lives of our children and families in the Antelope Valley.
On June 23rd, we gathered outside in the courtyard area of our Antelope Valley Family Center for an evening full of conversations, laughter and gratitude. All enjoyed some tasty food and especially loved the famous mashed potato bar. Wendy Carpenter (CEO) offered words of gratitude towards the many present and even some who weren’t able to make it. Some of our partners and donors in attendance included the U.S. Post office, The office of Kathryn Barger, Logix Federal Credit Union, Sherman Oaks Team Builders and Smart Local 105 Union.
We had the privilege of meeting some of the members from The Good Lyfe Family Bikers Club. This organization donates toys and gifts for our families during the holidays. Not only did they showed up to celebrate, they pledged to donate 50 Galaxy tablets for our youth. The following day the pledged became a reality! The tablets were distributed amongst different programs. Thank you!!
We are so grateful to the community of the Antelope Valley and our partners in the area for rallying behind our children youth and families. Our staff is committed to caring for this community and to transforms their lives and for this we are grateful. Check out some photo highlights from the event below!
