Nurturing Families 3 Day Facilitator Training

Join us for our Nurturing Families 3 Day Facilitator Training. Nurturing Families™️ is a trauma-informed and evidence-based practice for children of all ages. Nurturing Families™ program is designed to prevent, intervene, and treat child abuse and neglect. It follows the Nurturing Parenting Program™ philosophy that emphasizes the importance of raising children in a warm, trusting, and caring environment. This Nurturing Families™ Facilitator Training is specially designed for professionals and paraprofessionals working with individuals and families through group, in the home or online.

*Required 3 total hours of outside reading/home practice assignments

Registration

$499 for 18 hours of Training*

$25 for CEU credits

Trainer: Shannon Houselog

Shannon Houselog, LCSW is the Clinical Supervisor for Family Preservation at Penny Lane. She originally worked with FP as an IHOC and completed FPAS and then returned to FP and has been in her role for 3 years. Shannon obtained her MSW from CSUB in 2006 and her LCSW in 2016. Her experience has been working in SPA 1 with families involved with DCFS.
