Join us for the first in a series of year long courageous conversations. PLC welcomes Zachary Manuel from SF Human Rights Commission. This conversation explores what it means to engage in courageous conversations while working inside systems that shape people’s lives. Drawing from work at the San Francisco Human Rights Commission, this session will reflect on how professionals can name hard truths, navigate power and policy, and stay grounded in values of dignity, belonging, and care. Together, we’ll examine the tension between intent and impact in institutional work and consider how honest dialogue can be a tool for accountability, connection, and lasting change.
