The Housing Supported Services Program is a specialized program that provides comprehensive and intensive field-based community mental health services designed to meet the unique needs of individuals in Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) who are formerly homeless and have a Severe Mental Illness (SMI) or Serious Emotional Disturbance (SED). The HSSP services are provided as part of an integrated model in which the Los Angeles County (LAC or County) Department of Mental Health (Department or DMH), Department of Health Services (DHS), and Department of Public Health (DPH) partner to respectively provide mental health services, intensive case management services (ICMS), and substance use services, as appropriate, to Clients who are in or have been matched to permanent supported housing.
You can contribute financially as the adults in our programs are often in need of extra assistance and our resources are limited. Your monthly contributions go a long way, and any one-time contribution is also greatly appreciated.
