Thanksgiving Gratitude

Thanksgiving is all about gatherings of family and friends, showing gratitude for each and every person who has made a positive contribution to your life.  Thanksgiving and the winter holidays are a time for gathering and gratitude and bringing joy to our families whoever we each may include in that grouping.  We at Penny Lane could not do these events without the help and generosity of our donors and volunteers. With your help we were able to feed hundreds of families at both our drive-thru and housing celebrations, check it out!

In our monthly Wellness Corner our Antelope Valley Family Center Clinical Supervisor, Andrea Espinoza, shares her thoughts on stress relief and laughter.  Laughing allows your mental load to be lightened and can contribute to alleviating certain physical symptoms as well, contributing to overall feelings of wellness. Past Events in November 2022

November was busy and full of gratitude for us at Penny Lane Centers. TAYSTOCK 2022 was a big success at both our Commerce and Antelope Valley offices as we got to be back in person for the first time in two years. We also hosted flu vaccinations, received a generous donation from our community partner- Logix Federal Credit Union and much more. Check it out!!

Promotional Spotlight: Thea von Zabern

This month we introduce you to Thea von Zabern in our employee promotional spotlight. Thea started at Penny Lane in May of 2022 as a Mentor Coordinator, but in the seven short months since she has started, she has proven to be a strong leader, and was promoted to MIP Program Coordinator in September 2022 with one Mentor Coordinator direct report.  Check it out to learn more about Thea!
