Penny Lane Centers, Inc., is an independent nonprofit community-based human
services organization founded in 1969. Our mission is to foster hopes and dreams by
empowering children, adults and families to achieve their full human potential. The
Penny lane values emphasize individualized person-and family-centered services,
empowering families and individuals to live as independently as possible, and building
on and nurturing strengths innate in every individual and family.
The Penny Lane Antelope Valley (AV) Family Center initiative will construct and equip
a 30,000 square .foot state-of-the-art comprehensive therapeutic clinical treatment,
education and program campus in Lancaster in the heart of the Antelope Valley of Los
Angeles County.
Programs at the Center will be dedicated to:
• Reducing risk of abuse and re-abuse to vulnerable children six (6) to eighteen (18)
years of age,
• Reducing risk to fragile families with young children including homeless families and
families on the verge of homelessness,
• Assisting children and teens of any age to successful reunify with their families
following foster care, and,
• Enabling young adults, ages 18 – 22 live independent responsible lives following
foster care. |
